I was born and raised in Hawaiʻi. I identify as Native Hawaiian (Kānaka Maoli) and a multiracial person. I am happy to be serving the Southern Oregon University students as the Multicultural affairs senator. I look forward to working with and serving my constituents in any way that they need me.
Constituents include any member of the ASSOU who are involved in cultural or diversity issues. This Senator shall also serve as a liaison between the Multicultural Resource Center and ASSOU, and meet with its coordinator as needed. This Senator shall be engaged with identity-based groups including but not limited to the Black Student Union, the Latino Student Union, the Native American Student Union, and the Ho’opa’a Hawaii Club. This Senator shall also sit as a member of the Multicultural Affairs Committee of ASSOU and the Stevenson Union Steering Committee.
