I have attended 3 community college (2 in California) and switched majors just as many times before finding my passion for helping those less fortunate. I plan to continue my education with a MSW and start a career in child welfare services. I currently am a mentor for the FYMP as well as a youth mentor for at risk teens, I intern at CASA (Court appointed special advocated for children) and my goal is to not only be a voice for those without one, but to help reduce social injustices both on campus and at large.
