Byron Marlowe is the Coordinator of the Hospitality and Tourism Concentration and Instructor in the School of Business at Southern Oregon University. He currently moderates the Hospitality and Tourism Management Club in the School of Business at Southern Oregon University.

Prior to joining the School of Business at Southern Oregon University, Mr. Marlowe was the Lead Hospitality Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu College in Scottsdate, Arizona. Mr. Marlowe acquired substantial experience in the hospitality industry before academia. He held managerial positions within Managed Food Service Operations, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Publications and finally at a Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper.

Byron's explorations in tourism have been published in the East Valley Tribune and the Arizona Tourist News. Byron has advised several projects in Hospitality Operations and currently consults with Non Profit Organizations on recruitment strategies. He has participated in Education Exchange Programs for Tourism at NHTV International School of Applied Sciences and Les Roches International School of Management for European Food and Beverage Service Standards.

Byron is currently enrolled in Sonoma State University's Wine Business Management program.
