Q. How do I apply to the MiM program?
A. Complete an SOU graduate school applicationand a MiM program application. However, please note that we have suspended accepting new admission application students for the Fall 2015 cohort. In the meantime, we will keep your application or contact information for a potential cohort in Fall 2016.
Q. What is the deadline to apply?

Q. How long does it take to complete the degree?
A. About a year and a half, generally.
Q. Can I take longer?
A. You bet! Some people have taken three years or more to complete their degree.
Q. How many credits is the degree?
A. 45 total credits: 27 core course credits and 18 elective credits.
Q. Can I earn a certificate in sustainability leadership or nonprofit management with a MiM degree?
A. Yes, you can. The MiM degree is fully articulated with all three certificate programs.
Q. Can I transfer in graduate credits earned at another school?
A. Yes, in many cases. Your prior coursework must have been completed in the last seven years and pertain to this course of study. Up to 15 credits may be transferred in to this degree from another accredited school.
Q. Is financial aid available for this program?
A. Graduate students qualify for loans.
Q. How do I apply for financial aid?
A. Complete an application by going to FAFSA. SOU's School Code is 003219.
Q. How many credits do I need to take to qualify for aid?
A. You must be enrolled in at least 5 credits each term.
Q. Are scholarships available for this program?
A. Campus scholarships are quite limited for graduate students, unfortunately.
Q. Does it matter what my bachelors degree is in?
A. No, as long as you received it from an accredited college or university.
Q. Are there entrance exams for this program?
A. No, not as long as you meet the 3-year requirement for managerial experience.
Q. Where are classes held?
A. Evening class sessions for core courses are held at the Higher Education Center (HEC) in Medford. Most Saturday sessions are also held at the HEC.
Q. Where can I park at the HEC?
A. On-street parking and nearby public parking lots are available without time limits after 5:00pm. Be sure to arrive early to find a spot!
