Don't know a fork from a faux pas?
Make plans now to attend the Student Alumni Etiquette Dinner on Wednesday, March 4th and learn what it takes to make a great first impression and how to navigate through a formal dinner with style.
The dinner is preceded by a networking session in which students get to practice juggling hors d'oeuvres and punch while greeting people and carrying on conversation. Networking tips will be given during this part of the program.
During the three-course meal, students will be seated with alumni that have graduated in their major or school, as they learn the basics of proper dining, from use of the napkin, silverware, and glassware to what to do at the conclusion of the meal. A panel of professionals will guide students through simple etiquette techniques.
There is no charge for this event, as it is made possible through the generous sponsorship of employers and campus departments.
There is limited space available, so make sure to RSVP now!
