The SOU Food Pantry is committed to providing students with food and other basic necessities to alleviate the effects of hunger and poverty. We strive to promote human dignity and increase the likelihood of continued academic success.
Location and Hours:
Come visit us in Stevenson Union 312G. We are open Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-1:15pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-6pm, and Fridays by appointment. Should you require assistance outside of these hours, please contact us.
To receive food:
Currently enrolled students may receive 10 items of nonperishable food, produce from the campus garden, and/or hygiene supplies of their choosing once a week.
* You must show valid student ID and sign a waiver to receive food*
To donate food:
Non-perishable and unopened food and hygiene items may be left in donation bins in the Student Life Office, located in Stevenson Union 312.
Most needed items include:
- Gluten free and vegan options
- Non-dairy milks
- Nut butters
- Hygiene products (pads/tampons, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
- Cleaning supplies (all-purpose, detergent, etc.)
