(But we'll be back at our old address again soon.)

See faculty information or student information to learn more about the Moodle migration.

Moodle will be offline from December 14 to January 2 as we migrate to a new host. During this down-time, we're upgrading to Moodle version 3.3 as we move to our new host, eThink. Our move to eThink will allow us to include new applications that promise to make our academic lives just a bit easier.

All Moodle users are welcome to try out the new version in our test installation. Just log in with your regular SOU credentials using the SOU Account Login link. Courses in the test site were copied over in mid-September, so any courses that were available to you then should be available to you in the test site.

Students, don't see your courses?

If this is your first term at SOU, your Fall term courses may not be available in the test site. If you don't see any courses listed on your home page, you can enroll in the Moodle Test Drive course.

Faculty, two things to keep in mind:

  1. All of the courses in this test instance will be vaporized a few weeks after the actual migration occurs, so don't get too carried away!
  2. Plan to attend an orientation session to learn about the new version. Complete this form to sign up for a session.
