Moodle will be offline for approximately two weeks during winter break, from December 14 until January 2. If you need to submit missing coursework, make arrangements to do so before we go offline on December 14.
All of our current courses will be downloaded from our current host and reestablished on eThink's servers. Once we have the green light, we'll open Moodle up again at our same address (moodle.sou.edu) and we'll be off to the races for Winter term!
What does this move mean for students?
- You won't have access to any of your courses while Moodle is offline —make arrangements for submitting any missing coursework before we go offline on December 14.
- You don't have to do anything to prepare—all of your courses will migrate as they are.
- Your work will be saved—any work you have submitted in Moodle will be there waiting for you when we come back on line.
- You can check out the new version and features in our eThink test site (see Try Out the New Version for details).
