The Racial Justice team is committed to supporting BIPoC students by serving as program developers and advocates. Our staff is responsible for creating programs that empower students, create community, and promote awareness on a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, tribal, religious, and international diversity topics.

As the university's hub for cultural and racial diversity, the staff members are dedicated to working collaboratively with the SOU partners in order to provide the most appropriate advocacy possible for students in need.

The Equity Coordinator for Racial Justice serves as a Confidential Advocate. Confidential Advocates offer complete confidentiality and will provide options, without triggering further actions, that allow you time to make the decision you deem fit for yourself.  Please contact Marvin Woodard at if you are in need of specific advocacy.
