OLLI provides single-topic educational programs that are free and open to the public.

Lectures are held in the Presentation Hall on the first level of the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center at 101 S. Bartlett Street in Medford. Registration is required to ensure adequate seating. 

On Friday, March 1, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, at the Medford Higher Education Center, Jim Shames, MD, will present a lecture on the opioid crisis from a number of perspectives: the physiology of pain, opioid use disorder, the historical treatment, and what is being done in Oregon to reverse the trend of opioid misuse and overdose. Refreshments, courtesy of Twin Creeks, will be provided.
