The Southern Oregon men's and women's basketball teams open up Cascade Conference play at home this weekend with a pair of doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday at Ashland High.

The Raiders host Eastern Oregon on Saturday and College of Idaho on Sunday, with the women's games at 4 p.m. and the men's games at 6 p.m.both days.

Saturday will feature a Top 25 matchup in the women's game as Eastern Oregon is ranked 8th in the Nation and SOU comes in at 12th. Sunday'smen's game will also feature at Top 25 matchup as College of Idaho is ranked seventh and the SOU men are ranked 13th.

A reminder that tickets are FREE for SOU students and SOU faculty/staff. We are not doing passes this year for faculty/staff. To get your free ticket, show your SOU ID at the ticket window.

 

Watching SOU Football In NAIA Semifinals

The fifth-ranked SOU football team travels second-ranked Reinhardt Saturday in the NAIA Quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 10:30 a.m. on the West Coast.

Save the Date! Raider Alternative Breaks Spring and Summer 2018

Raider Alternative Breaks is looking for actively engaged citizens to join our Spring and Summer alternative service-learning trips! Applications open soon, so be on the lookout. There will be two Spring break opportunities, March 25th-31st to work in different parts of the western United States. The exact type of service TBD. Keep an eye out for applications at the beginning of Winter term. Applications will be open January 8th-24th. Summer break applications to work in Central America June 18th-30th, will be open from January 24th- February 14th. Email engage@sou.edu with any questions.

Library Hours for Finals Week

Starting December 3, our extended hours extend even more! Maximizing your access to the resources you need to finish off this term strong.

Sunday, December 3 — 11 am to 24 hours*
Monday, December 4 —  open 24 hours*
Tuesday, December 5 —  open 24 hours*
Wednesday, December 6 —  closed at 2 am*
Thursday, December 7 —  8 am to 2 am*
Friday, December 8 —  8 am to 5 pm
Saturday, December 9 —  closed all day

*Building closed to non-students after midnight.

All students (including RCC, HEC, and local high school students) are welcome to partake of extended hours. Just remember to bring your student ID to get in after midnight.

And on those long 24-hour nights, don’t forget to help yourself to some free coffee and snacks, courtesy of the Friends of Hannon Library, served up at midnight in the Rotunda.
