BSU Soul Food Dinner: Feast-Worthy and Free!

November 20th  |  6 to 8:30 pm  |   Rogue River Room

The SOU Black Student Union is hosting its annual Soul Food Dinner featuring macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, peach cobbler, and more classic dishes.  Enlightening entertainment will include slam poetry, presentations by BSU members, and a brief history of soul food and its role in black culture.

Share an important part of black culture with us as we eat, laugh, and learn about the importance of soul food in American Black culture and history.

All are welcome and a $5 dollar donation is recommended. We are also requesting canned good donations for the SOU Student Food Pantry.
