This sequence begins with the premise, "Leadership is a process which can be learned." The following are competencies students will achieve through this term: Design and implement a large-scale leadership education program, enlist others in a shared vision, take the initiative and look outward for innovative ways to improve, and foster collaboration. The text "The Student Leadership Challenge" serves as our platform. Students will choose from two collaborative tracks to achieve the development of the Social Justice and Leadership Conference scheduled for March 2nd, 2018. The first track will have students creating content for the conference. The second will focus on the administrative and marketing aspects of hosting a large conference.
