French SLI Summer Highlights 2017

The 2017 French Summer Language Institute had its largest group to date with 44 students in Angers this summer. Highlights included some special class guests, an excursion to a Troglodyte village, and a unique “Teaching French through Art” class taught by Angers artist Cecile Benoiton.

Professional conteurs Claire Guillermin and Bruno Jouët-Pastre entertained students in Daniel Morris’ Contes et nouvelles class with stories of frogs, princesses, and a magic wine barrel.

Visitors representing various French marginalized groups shared insights in Marianne Golding’s En Marge de la societe course.
