Restorative Justice: a community response to crime that focuses on addressing the harms done to victims and communities by holding offenders meaningfully accountable for their offenses. The 2018 @NWJusticeforum takes a deep dive into the principles, application, and exploration of Restorative Justice and all are invited to take part in this meaningful cause. SOU students may attend several sessions at the Northwest Justice Forum completely free.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about a career opportunity that actively heals communities, resolves conflict, and helps victims repair from harm. Local non-profit @Resolve Center for Dispute Resolution and Restorative Justice is providing a limited number of SOU student scholarships to the 3-day conference!
May 8-10, 2018 from 8 am - 5 pm
Visit www.resolvecenter.org to apply. In addition, SOU students and staff interested in attending a plenary session should contact Raphaelle@resolvecenter.org to reserve your place. See you at the Forum!
