Nov 19 at 5:30 in the Rogue River Room.
On October 12th, 2018, SOU President Linda Schott signed the SOU Real Food Campus Commitment, affirming that by 2023, 20% (or more!) of the food served on the SOU campus will be from sources that are ecologically sound, fair, humane, and local/regionally sourced! Students from the ECOS Sustainability Resource Center are hosting a banquet dinner on November 19th to celebrate this achievement - and the entire community is invited. Join us for a delicious meal featuring organic and locally-sourced food (including vegan and gluten free options), learn about the SOU Real Food Commitment, and celebrate this momentous undertaking! Local farm owner and SOU University Studies Instructor Melissa Matthewson will be a featured speaker! For more information about the Real Food Challenge and Real Food Standards (how we know what qualifies as “real food”) visit www.realfoodchallenge.org.
Please share with your networks, co-workers, students, friends and family!
