Every year on December 1st, people all around the world celebrate World AIDS Day. This day of awareness has become one of the most world-wide recognized health days. This is an opportunity for outreach, awareness, increasing knowledge, celebrating victories, commemorating those who have died, and continue fighting for increased access to treatment and prevention services.

The SOU Women's Resource Center works with other groups and organizations to spread awareness on this day in various ways. We encourage you to contact us if you are interested in getting involved. The SOU Queer Resource Center also works hard each year to recognize this day in many different ways.
