Students arrive Friday afternoon July 29th between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. for check-in and orientation. Meals begin with Saturday breakfast so make sure your student has had dinner before arriving for check-in. Classes will begin on Monday and continue through Friday. Each student's daily schedule includes three one and a half-hour classes plus special presentations. Latino Academy students choose course offerings from humanities, mathematics, science, social studies, fine and performing arts, and cultural classes. After-class programs coordinate with in-class activities to include supervised recreation as well as cultural events. Departure is Saturday, August 6th.
