How to register for an ASEP class

All registration must be done online at sou.edu/takeaclass.

Under the tab "Ashland Afterschool Enrichment Partnership" is a link to the classes being held at each school. Select the class, add it to your cart and checkout. Be sure to checkout to confirm registration. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided containing a liabilty form which must be filled out and submitted online to complete your registration. 

Registration for each session will occur in tiers. A limited number of class spaces will be opened during the first tier for families currently registered for and receiving free and reduced lunch benefits, and registrations will be limited to one class per student. The next tier will open to families paying $20/class, and registrations will be limited to one class per student. The last tier will see all remaining spaces opened to registration for all families to register for second and third classes. Please be aware that if you register in error during a tier which was not available to your student, or for more than one class before the last tier is opened, your registration may be cancelled and an auto-generated cancellation notice will be sent to the email address you provided.

Winter Registration Schedule:

November 20th – December 1st

Full scholarship registration for families receiving free and reduced lunch benefits (one class only)                        

December 4th – 12th 

Paid registration for all families (one class only)  

December 12th- 20th 

Registration for 2nd and 3rd classes open to all families

December 20th – January 2nd 

Registration CLOSED- Happy Holidays!

January 2nd – 8th

Final registration for any remaining spots

Registration is non-transferrable and non-refundable. Please consult the ASEP cancellation and refund policy on the policies page in the event you need to cancel a registration after it has been confirmed.

How does my student receive a scholarship? Families currently signed up for and receivng Free and Reduced Lunch benefits may sign up during the week of November 20th - December 1st for one free class per student. Simply register online at sou.edu/youth/asep during those dates to receive one class at no cost. Should 2nd and 3rd classes with scholarship spaces be available after all students have had the opportunity to register for a single class, those families already registered for one fully scholarshipped class will receive an email (to the address they provided during the registration process) notifying them of avaiable free spots and offering a scholarship payment code for those classes.
