Becoming an Education Studies Major
Students who want to major in elementary education must complete an application to the School of Education. This usually occurs winter term of the junior year. Applications are available from K.C. Sam, the School of Education Distance Learning Transfer Specialist. All candidates work with an advisor from the School of Education at the time of application. Admission to the major is selective. The School of Education notifies students of its decision. Certain upper division courses in the field are restricted to majors.
