             The SHWC wants you to know we are here for you health needs.

We are open for medical and mental health services.

Appointments will be conducted virtually and in-person as deemed necessary. 

Please call 541-552-6136 to schedule an appointment. 

      The Student Health and Wellness Center provides access to a wide range of health services including primary medical care, mental health care, psychiatric care, preventive services and campus-wide health promotion. 

All SOU students who pay the health fee are eligible to access medical and mental health services at the SHWC.
All charges are billed to the student account. 
SOU students do not need insurance to be seen at the SHWC.  
Students may request a visit summary to submit to their private insurance for possible reimbursement.

 The Student Health and Wellness encourages all students to get a flu immunization. 

The SHWC will be closed during spring break beginning March 20, 2021 and re-opening on Monday, April 4, 2021.

The SHWC is closed for clinical services during winter break, spring break, and from the end of summer session until the start of fall term. Part-time hours of service are provided during summer.

SHWC Mission

To promote the optimal health and well being of students through quality educational, primary medical care, mental health and health promotion services. These services will be confidential, convenient and economical. They will be delivered in a setting and manner that facilitates the healing and learning process that recognizes the unique needs of students and is supportive of their academic success at SOU.
