Rattaphon Wuthisatian is an Assistant Professor of Business and Economics at Southern Oregon University. He has a joint appointment and teaching responsibilities in both the School of Business and the Economics Program. Before joining SOU, Rattaphon was an Assistant Professor of Economics at ShanghaiTech University, and an economics instructor at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Rattaphon received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015 with the Best PhD student in Economics Award. He earned his MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas, and B.E. (Civil Engineering) from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand. His teaching and research interests include macroeconomics, behavioral finance and economics, corporate finance, financial economics, applied econometrics, and quantitative methods in business.
