Program Overview
The SOU Mentor Program is committed to strengthening new and current student's SOU experience through provision and fostering of a meaningful connection with an academically successful mentor and commited mentor. The mentor relationships will increase participation in student life, exposure to student leadership, and academic success. The mentoring program pairs any interested students (first-years, transfers, first-generation, etc) with returning students to assist, connect, and increase retention rates for students from matriculation to graduation. The SOU Mentor Program will provide a greater sense of individual agency, as well as affiliation with the diverse and inclusive community at SOU.How do I join the program?
