Visa Information
Upon being admitted to SOU, all international students are required to submit the Financial Certification Statement and SEVIS Information Form. International students are required by law to show proof of finances to support at least the first year of study. Please download and complete the Financial Certification Statement and mail it to our office along with an official bank letter. These two documents must be mailed originals. Scans, emails, photocopies, etc. cannot be accepted. SOU cannot issue a I-20/DS-2019 until you have completed this form.
The SEVIS Information Form is used to ensure that your I-20/DS-2019 is submitted accurately. The SEVIS form can be emailed to International Programs. Please also email us a copy of your passport.
