What We Do
Through collaboration with students, faculty, and professionals SOURCE completes program evaluations, survey research, implementation studies and economic analysis to better our region.
Applied research is a scientific approach to investigating real-world issues, and using the results for immediate and practical solutions. Applied research gives you the data you need to take the guesswork and assumptions out of your organizational decisions.
Evaluation is the process of assessing the effectiveness of your organization’s program, policy, project or services. This includes determining whether your policy or program is achieving the desired goals and benefits, and whether it is cost effective. External evaluation is often required on federal, state and local grants.
Applied research and evaluation will give your organization the tools to:
- target resources where they are most needed,
- address misinformation effectively,
- provide the right services at the right time and place,
- avoid costly mistakes,
- address your mission effectively and efficiently.
