Examines how coaching skills and techniques can strengthen intrinsic motivation in self and others to identify and reach goals. Learn how to reach successful outcomes through personal and professional application of these techniques using both theory and experiential learning methods. Coursework includes reading selected material, reflective writing, discussions, practice, and roleplaying.

Effective Sales Techniques (MM 540)

Explores the methods and process of building a clientele, including skills that can be transferred to a sales career in any industry. Students learn and practice the Sales Cycle Process.

Financial Accounting for Non-Financial Managers (MM 540)

Wednesdays: November 12, November 19, and December 3, 6:00-9:00 pm
Familiarizes non-financial managers with the key concepts encountered in financial management. Course objectives include defining and explaining the principal roles of the finance function and the financial manager, describing the purpose of the four primary financial statements, learning how to calculate key financial ratios, and understanding cash forecasting.
