Students must also qualify with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their last 90 quarter (60 semester) hours of undergraduate work. If a student meets all other requirements for the Master's program but has a GPA between 2.5 and 2.99, he/she will be admitted as a post-baccalaureate student and must complete 12 credits of approved graduate work with a grade of B- or better. The student can then file a "Change of Status" form to gain full admission.
Students meeting all criteria other than passing scores on a graduate entrance exam will be given post-baccalaureate status. The student can proceed to file a program but will not be able to earn a Master's degree until he/she has passed a graduate entrance exam. At such time, he/she must file a "Change of Status" form along with the test score report to gain full admission. This must be done prior to the completion of 30 credits on the approved program.
Once admitted, students are responsible for filing a program within their first 12 hours of graduate coursework.
