The SOU Testing Center at the HEC in downtown Medford offers test administration for students, whether attending SOU or other colleges and universities. We have two dedicated testing labs, one with 21 computers and the other with 2 computers for students needing accomodations. Our secure center offers access to any on-line course including those needing a secured lock-down browser. We proctor both computer-based and paper/pencil exams.
Cost: Proctoring is FREE for any SOU student taking an SOU exam. Otherwise, proctoring costs $35 per exam.

We will do everything possible to accommodate your request however this is not guaranteed. Someone will contact you to confirm your test request. Our hours vary after the fall term, so please call us for specific hours.
The Higher Education Center building is currently closed due to the COVID 19 virus. You may request a date after September 20th to test and we will let you know if we are open by then.
Find Us: The SOU Testing Center is located at the HEC in downtown Medford. We are at 101 S. Bartlett St, Room 108, Medford next to the Jackson County Library and the RCC Riverside Campus.
What to bring: Remember to bring a current, signed, picture ID for checking into the exam. No cell phones or other electronics will be allowed in the testing room. Backpacks, purses, and other carry-ons are also prohibited in the testing room.
