Advising
Keep on target, moving toward graduation with the classes you need at the time you need them. Meeting with an academic advisor helps you achieve that goal. Your major advisor is your keystone, but don’t wait! Especially for those transferring in credit from other schools, a general advising appointment even before your first term helps focus your efforts. Create your own path through University Studies requirements, and avoid surprises later. Go to sou.edu/advising to find the Student Success Coordinators in each major.
