Dr. Warwick received her Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton in 2018 and her Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2023. Dr. Warwick has been a practicing clinician since 2017 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a range of clinical experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, groups, and families. Currently, she maintains a small private practice with a clinical focus on individual adults seeking services for grief, trauma, mindfulness, and transpersonal issues. Her research interests include interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness in counselor education, counseling student (and counselor) trauma, trauma-informed supervision, gatekeeping, and the integration of spirituality and mental health. She is also an editorial board member for the Journal of Counseling and Development and the Assistant Editor for the Journal of Near-Death Studies, as well as being an active member of the American Counseling Association, The Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, meditation, and reading Eastern philosophy.
