Dr. Paul Condon received his Bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA and his Master’s and PhD from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. His research lies at the intersection of health and social psychology, with the goal to understand the psychological processes that underlie personal and social wellbeing. In particular, his research examines how prosocial emotions and mindfulness- and compassion-based interventions shape health outcomes (e.g., cardiovascular recovery from stress, social connectivity and support) and positive social outcomes (e.g., bystander intervention, relationship formation). Dr. Condon teaches courses in Health Psychology, Stress Management, General Psychology, Research Methods, and Writing. He enjoys biking in Ashland and watching and playing basketball.
