Dr. Murray's areas of research interests include lesbian and gay studies, geropsychology, risky-choice behaviors, and evaluation and treatment of sex offenders. In applied settings, his interests include psychodynamic and existential models and hypnosis. Dr. Murray taught courses in general psychology, personality, psychological testing, clinical and counseling psychology, lesbian and gay studies, and history and systems of psychology. In private practice as a licensed psychologist, Paul provides counseling services and is a psychological consultant to various agencies. Dr. Murray retired from SOU in 2017.
