The Minor in Psychology is very popular among students with diverse majors. Understanding the why and how of human behavior and thought is useful for any career goal. Students do not need to declare a minor until their graduation application has been submitted.
Students must complete a minimum of 24 credits in Psychology including:
- Psy 201 & 202
- 16 credits of electives, 12 of which must be upper division
Only 4 credits may be from Special Studies, Practicum or Teaching Assistant (TA) credits.
For the purposes of the minor ONLY, the statistical methods courses and writing and research courses (PSY 225 and PSY 325) can be substituted for upper division credit.
Credit toward a minor is only given for courses passed with a grade of C or better.
