Free Classes Fall, Winter and Spring Terms 2023
Success at Southern TRIO SSS offers several free 1 credit classes to current TRIO students enrolled in the Student Support Services Program. College Success classes have been developed to help facilitate students’ academic and personal success in college.
TRIO-SSS Free Classes (Exclusive for TRIO SSS students) - Fall Term 2023:
- Steps to Success (CRN 1772) Hybrid, Mondays 3:30-4:20pm with Jessie Foster. This class has been developed to facilitate academic and personal success at college. The weekly curriculum is intended to help students understand themselves and their choices, prioritize goals, and connect with campus-wide resources.
- Steps to Success (CRN 1852) ONLINE with Jessie Foster. This class has been developed to facilitate academic and personal success at college. The weekly curriculum is intended to help students understand themselves and their choices, prioritize goals, and connect with campus-wide resources.
- TRiO Scholarship Writing (CRN 1853) In-person, Tuesdays, 9:30-10:20am with Shane Robinson. This class will help facilitate students' knowledge of possible scholarship opportunities and successful submission of available scholarships.
- TRiO Scholarship Writing (CRN 1854) ONLINE with Shane Robinson. This class will help facilitate students' knowledge of possible scholarship opportunities and successful submission of available scholarships.
