Disabled Student Union (DSU)
While the Disabled Student Union (DSU) is not an extension of Disability Resources, it is important for our students to find community. As such, DSU is a student-run organization to provide connections for students with disabilities and allies. Feel free to reach out to them with the information provided below.
Email DSU's Co-Presidents:
- Kitty Valbuena | valbuenak@sou.edu
- Greyson Johnson | johnsos25@sou.edu
A message from DSU: Students at large have formed together to create a student union that works to empower those with disabilities on campus. We strive to help those with disabilities, and without, to find community. We want to create a place, even virtually, where we can congregate for fun activities and discussion, as well as have a platform to fight for change on and off-campus.
To that end, weekly meetings are Fridays from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Dankook Room (Rm #314). Additional information available upon request at johnsos25@sou.edu and/or valbuenak@sou.edu!
