Main Campus Website
This is our main web, public facing presence. It is likely the first place people go to learn about SOU. As such, we want it to present a good first impression. The target audience is prospective students and their families.
All top level pages are managed by the Marketing department, Department pages are managed by individual departments and questions can be directed to them
The Marketing department provides strategy, branding, and design for the SOU website.
Information Technology assists with the day-to-day page production and support for publishers across campus.

Joomla Content Management System
To manage the pages we use a content management system called “Joomla”. The design and style of pages are controlled by a templating system and follows the Marketing department’s guidelines. Departments may request an account and training in Joomla to efficiently manage their site. Contact your Computing Coordinator or email web@sou.edu for more information.
For help using Joomla visit the Joomla Support page.
