Welcome to Business Services

Business Services Central plans and operates the University’s comprehensive financial programs including financial accounting, analysis, and reporting. Our department provides customer-driven services to students, campus departments, and the SOU community. We ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and business policies, processes, records, and their transaction systems.

Business Services supports university compliance with federal and state mandated programs, regulations and policies. We are a collaborative organization that strives to consistently provide effective and efficient service and support to the university.

Forms Library

The Business Services Forms Library gives you a centralized location to access all the forms you need related to our department's major functional areas (Travel, Purchasing, Accounting, Payroll, etc.). Forms are indexed as much as possible by functional area. New and revised forms will be posted here as they become available. Student Job Opportunity

Are you looking for work on campus? Student employees are an important part of enhancing the work place and our goal is to provide learning opportunities in a business setting that complement the academic side of the university experience. Business Services looks for student workers to assist on accounting projects, filing and processing of documents, web tech support, and print and copy services.

The Fall SOU Campus Job Fair provides an opportunity to meet Business Services staff and learn of job openings for both work study and non-work study applicants. Student jobs are set up on a defined schedule but the intent is to be flexible around academic demands. To apply, you may post your resume to Career Connections in your department area of interest and the supervisor will receive notice that you have applied.
