Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Southern Oregon University, through the Public Employees' Benefit Board (PEBB) contracts with Canopy (formerly Cascade Centers, Inc.) to provide a comprehensive employee assistance program for eligible employees and their dependents. Employees receive 3 free sessions. If you are struggling with work or family issues, free confidential help is available through the EAP.
To access help, call "The Line" at 1-800-433-2320 at any time. You may also find assistance online through the PEBB's website.

In addition to counseling and other resources, Canopy provides access for SOU Employees to free, personal, online training. Once registered, you will have access to various online training programs such as webinars, courses on stress management, personal growth, leadership, health, interpersonal skills, time management and many more topics.
Canopy will assist in selecting a counselor according to your specific request that can include race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or language. Please review the Your Experiences Matter informational flyer.
