The purpose of Human Resource Services is to contribute to the educational mission of Southern Oregon University by developing, implementing, and administering a wide range of personnel programs within the guidelines provided by State and Federal regulations, University Shared Services Enterprise, and the University. Human Resources supports institutional goals by providing consultative services to administrators, supervisors, and employees in the following areas:

For a Verbal Verification of Employment (i.e. simple confirmation that an employee is employed at the University) please call 541-552-6700. Our policy is to only release whether or not an employee is currently employed with the University with a yes or no answer, any other information will require a faxed request for information to 541-552-6138.

For written Verification of Employment (i.e. Mortgages, Re-Financing, etc.) please fax paperwork along with a signed release from the employee to 541-552-6138. Please allow 24-72 hours for the processing of your verification request.
