After School Enrichment Partnership
In 2017-18, SOU Youth Programs partnered with Ashland Schools Foundation and the Ashland School District to offer three 6-week long sessions of after-school enrichment classes at local elementary schools.
Our dynamic instructors brought their passion and expertise to engage students in a wide variety of topics, including: LEGO Robotics, Engineering, Chemistry, Sewing, Gardening, Ceramics, Painting, Chess, Yoga, Song-writing, Spanish, and much more!
There was tremendous interest in these classes, and through the generosity of Ashland Schools Foundation, we were able to offer these classes to just over 500 students for only $20/session, over 200 of whom attended free of charge with full scholarship funding.

It was an amazing year, full of exciting collaboration and valuable enrichment. We are deeply grateful for the meaningful connections we made to students and their families, and we look forward to serving you in our other programs.
