After School Enrichment Partnership LogoSOU Pre-College Youth Programs is partnering with the Ashland Schools Foundation to pilot an after-school program in three Ashland elementary schools during the 2017-18 academic year. The After School Enrichment Partnership (ASEP) will offer hour-long enrichment classes at Helman, Bellview, and Walker schools in three 6-week sessions. This pilot program is limited to 3rd-5th grades. If successful, we hope to expand to all Ashland elementary schools and additional grades in future years.

ASF is still actively fundraising to cover expenses for the pilot year.

Want to ensure the success of this pilot? Please consider a donation to the Ashland Schools Foundation, which is providing the financial support for this pilot program.

Providing access for students who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch

A priority for this program is to provide access to enrichment activities for students who may otherwise not have the resources to participate in after-school programs. ASF is waiving tuition fees for all students who are signed up for Free & Reduced Lunch Benefits. We will provide tuition-free advanced registration for a portion of available class spaces before we open paid registration for the remaining 3rd-5th graders. If you think your child may qualify for free or reduced lunch, please check with your school office to fill out the paperwork. The schools keep this information confidential.

For all other families, tuition has been set at the low price of $20 for one six-week class. Want to sponsor tuition for a student in need? You have the option to make a donation to support the continuation of this program when you register. Or, you can make a direct donation to the ASEP program through the Ashland Schools Foundation.
